On July 12 2011 my brother died. Not only did he die, but to the best of our knowledge, he took his own life.

This is not the most important thing about me. But it is the event which eventually inspired this blog. 

My name is Emma and I'm 25-years-old. I grew up in Suffolk with my parents and three younger brothers. Then I went away to university and to explore the world, before deciding to train to become a journalist and then taking on the world of Communications. 

I completed my journalism course in May 2012, and started doing 'bits and bobs' before deciding to work for a charity. Living back with my parents was something of an experience. But I got my washing done for me so I can't really complain.

Now I live in Harlow with my lovely boyfriend, Glenn, not far from the best sight that Harlow has to offer...Pet's Corner. 

I doubt any of these facts are the 'most important thing about me' either. But I've tried to give you a basic overview of who I am and what I do.
